The Coronavirus

The Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra is committed to the health and safety of everyone at our performance and event venues. Therefore all programs will be cancelled or postponed until further notice.

With Governor Mike DeWine’s declaration that all public events over 100 people be cancelled effective immediately, we will be cancelling all of our public programs until further notice.

We are closely monitoring the global outbreak of the Coronavirus as well as its impact on our state and local community. We are monitoring several sources for the latest updates including Cincinnati Health Department, Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization and the City of Cincinnati.

Once events resume, we will work closely with all upcoming event venues to ensure extra precautionary measures are undertaken by providing additional hand sanitizers, and by routinely disinfecting community touched surfaces such as doorknobs, handles, elevator keypads, etc.

For anyone who had tickets to our April 3 performance of A Woman’s Mind Amplified at Cincinnati Art Museum, we are happy to accommodate ticket exchanges or credits for your choice of performances during Summermusik 2020 – August 8-29. Please email Ralf Ehrhardt at if you are interested in exchanging your tickets.

We prioritize the health of our audience, staff, musicians, artists and volunteers. We will implement and communicate appropriate future event changes directly to all ticket holders, through our email list, through social media channels (Facebook, Twitter) and through this page: Please bookmark this page as we will share the most up-to-date information here.
