Postcards from the Sky

SUNDAY, AUGUST 12 | 4:00pm

CARNEGIE HALL AT NEWPORT {NEWPORT, KY}
401 Monmouth St, Newport, KY 41071

The beauty and sounds of nature have inspired classical composers throughout history. Join us as we explore this influence in a concert with repertoire spanning three centuries. From waves in a stormy sea, to the cool undergrowth of a forest, to the transition from day to night, the music in this ethereal program will be as colorful and varied as nature itself. Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra concertmaster Celeste Golden Boyer will be featured on several works, including Vivaldi’s Concerto in G Minor.
