Historical Commentary & Film Screening of Amadeus

THURSDAY, AUGUST 22 | 7pm

ESQUIRE THEATRE {CLIFTON}
320 Ludlow Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220

The 1985 winner of eight Academy Awards including Best Picture, Amadeus is a film that Roger Ebert called “magnificent.” Based on a play by Peter Shaffer, who also wrote the script, the film is set in Vienna during the latter half of the 18th century. It details a fictionalized biography of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and serves as the perfect prelude to our festival closing night which will play tribute to the brilliant composer. Before the show, hear commentary about the film from CCO music director Eckart Preu.

Please be aware: This film is rated R and not appropriate for little movie buffs.
