CCO principal violist Heidi Yenney and pianist Christopher O’Riley will co-host an evening of Alternative Rock as we return to one of our most popular venues, The Redmoor. Hear music of English band Radiohead, a critically-acclaimed rock group that draws influence from everything from experimental electronic music to 20th century classical music and jazz. Often heard on television and movie soundtracks, “breathtaking” folk rock group Sun Kil Moon has been recognized as “assembling some of the most impressive and individualistic song canons” in 20 years of American music. Enjoy emotional and soaring works by these and other artists artfully arranged for various combinations of strings and piano.
