CCO Unveils Eclectic Summermusik Series for August 2018

The Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra unveiled plans for Summermusik, an August festival of diverse concert events, from classical to jazz to alternative rock, in eight different venues around the Cincinnati region.

The four-week series “will feature what you have come to expect: the known, the unknown and the unexpected – all performed by the first-class musicians of the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra,” said music director Eckart Preu in a news release.

The series includes full CCO performances at the School for Creative and Performing Arts’ (SCPA) Corbett Theater in Over-the-Rhine, along with Little Afternoon Musik concerts and Chamber Crawl events held at various bars and restaurants in the area.
