Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra Presents Summermusik 2018

Cincinnati, OH – This summer the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra will present an exciting line-up of eleven diverse and creative concert events in eight different venues around greater Cincinnati. Music director Eckart Preu has put together a festival of unique programs that will transform Cincinnati during the month of August into a cultural gathering place where audiences can socialize and celebrate music ranging from classical to jazz to alternative rock.

“I am thrilled to present our exciting programs for this summer,” said Mr. Preu. “They will feature what you have come to expect: the known, the unknown and the unexpected – all performed by the first-class musicians of the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra.”

Summermusik will again offer three different concert experiences – each designed to provide something unique for everyone’s musical tastes. Our festival season includes full chamber orchestra performances at the School for Creative & Performing Arts in OTR, as well as A Little Afternoon Musik concerts and Chamber Crawl concerts, which are a fun and interactive series held at various bars and restaurants around Greater Cincinnati.
